Self-Guided Walking Tours in Wales
Our walking trips in Wales highlight the beauty of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, the awe of Snowdonia National Park, and the wonders of the Welsh language and culture. You’ll find no shortage of opportunities for wonderful walking holidays in Wales…so let’s go explore!
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path was officially opened in 1970 and had the honour of being the first National Way Marked Trail in Wales. The trail follows the coastline from Amroth in the south to St Dogmaels in the north, covering a distance of just under 300 kilometres (186 miles). Throughout this route, you will experience sandy bays, limestone cliffs, coastal flora and fauna, as well as evidence of human activity from Neolithic times to the present. The path offers some of the most breathtaking coastal scenery in Wales.
It’s not just about the coastal views in Wales, however! There’s the challenge of the high mountain peak of Mount Snowdon in Snowdonia National Park, which covers an area of approximately 2,130 square kilometres (823 square miles) of diverse landscapes. From that tall summit to the lush green valleys of Conway and Betws-y-Coed, you’re sure to be awed and inspired by the scenery in Wales.
