Then travelling further north we will visit the Giants Causeway as we explore the majestic Causeway Coast and then travelling to St. Patricks Country on the shores of Strangford Lough. A cairn - Click 'comment', click the camera icon, and upload a photo of your CAIRN !

A cairn is a human-made pile (or stack) of stones.

Cairns have been and are used for a broad variety of purposes, from prehistoric times to the present.

In modern times, cairns are often erected as landmarks

Cairns are used as trail markers in many parts of the world, in uplands, on moorland, on mountaintops

Different types of cairns exist from rough piles of stones to interlocking dry stone round cylinders.

My favourite photo will be chosen next Friday 23rd November 2018.
