SELF-GUIDED WALKING TOURS

Why not book a self-guided/Independent hiking and walking tour in Ireland, Scotland or Wales, with us.
You can start on whichever day you want and we can tailor your walking tour to your interests and budget. You don’t have to worry about accommodation, routes, maps, or travel information.  All you have to do is enjoy your holiday. These hiking/walking tours are suitable for individuals or as a shared adventure for family groups or friends.In Ireland choose between the Dingle Way, the Wicklow Way, the Aran islands and the Western Way, Connemara and the Western Way, the Beara Way, the Sheephead Way, the Kerry Way, the Antrim Way  


Wicklow Walking Festival 2015

 

For 2015, Footfalls Wicklow Walking Festival will run from Friday October 23rd until Monday the 26th

The weekend offers a selection of walking choices which you can mix, match, or just choose one:

Climb Leinsters highest peak, Lugnaquilla (925m).

A night walk on Friday the 23rd promising to be a unique and adventurous experience.

A selection of scenic day walks from challenging, moderate and easy on Saturday and Sunday.

A moderate walk on Monday the 26th to celebrate the completion of a great weekend and summer walking season.



WILD ATLANTIC WAY

The Wild Atlantic Way, a 2,500km trail on the west coast of Ireland, stretching from Donegals Inishowen Peninsula to Kinsale in Co. Cork. A small selection of highlights along the route include the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, Dingle, Dursey Island and the Skelligs.

Many of our Guided Tours visit parts of the Wild Atlantic Way, including Aran Islands & Western Way, Connemara SpecialConnemara and The Burren, Cork & Kerry and Donegal and Antrim.

We have a selection of weekend and mid-week breaks, perfect when you only have a few days to escape. Our selection of breaks has something for everyone, each catered to suit varying levels of ability and different interests. The short breaks give you a chance to relax and recharge your batteries while our professional guides look after you while you experience the countryside and all its glories.


MOUNTAIN SKILLS

Our popular mountain skills training courses are designed to help you enjoy the full pleasures of the mountains. To build your confidence in your ability to navigate and look after yourself safely while exploring the countryside. Navigation forms the core of mountaineering and is an art to have the capability to guide yourself safely in the mountains in poor weather conditions or failing light and to avoid natural hazards.
