Footfalls: Walking Tour Specialists Since 1994

Founded in 1994 by Christopher and Teresa Stacey, Footfalls was born from a shared love of the great outdoors. Initially guiding individuals and groups on walking tours in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland, things quickly progressed to include guided and self-guided walking tours elsewhere in Ireland.

Today, Footfalls Walking Holidays attracts customers from all over the world, offering guided and self-guided walking tours to almost every corner of Ireland, as well as walking tours in Scotland, Wales, England, and the iconic Camino de Santiago in Spain. Despite this growth, almost all of our tours are still guided by Christopher and Teresa, offering that personal touch that brings customers back year after year.

Happy New Year 🥰Thank you to everyone who came out for our first hike of the year and shared that special first sunrise with us. Even though the morning was a bit cloudy, the sun still tried its best to push through, kind of like all of us before that first cup of coffee 😅. The glow, the fresh air, and the laughter on the trail made it pure magic.Here’s to carrying that same spirit into the rest of the year. What a day on the Spinc! The sun showed up, the wind tried its best to blow us back to Wicklow… and everyone still kept smiling.
