Bookings

A Non-refundable deposit of €150 per person is required to book a place on our walking tours.  Should we fail to secure your chosen tour, we will offer an alternative tour or a full refund. 

  1. Please ensure you have entered the correct start date for your tour. Any change of Tour or Dates after booking will incur an admin fee of €100. If you book the incorrect Tour and fail to inform us, a €100 admin fee will apply. Changes to Dates or Tour at any stage after confirmation will also incur an admin fee at Footfalls’ discretion.
  2. By making a booking, the lead named person on the booking form agrees on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking that all persons have read these Booking Terms & Conditions and does agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  3. The lead named person on the booking form accepts financial responsibility for payment of the booking on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking form.
  4. You are responsible for ensuring that you and all those traveling in your group are in possession of private travel insurance with protection for the duration of your tour with Footfalls Walking Holidays LTD. Covering all your personal requirements including pre-existing medical conditions, cancellation charges, curtailment, medical expenses, and repatriation in the event of injury or illness during your walking tour with us.
  5. Self-guided booking are NOT confirmed until the accommodation list has been sent.

Luggage Details For Self-Guided Tours.

Terms and Conditions for Transfers
  1. Baggage Weight Limit: The maximum permissible weight for each bag is 15kg. Please note that we will not transport bags weighing more than 15kg / 34 lb.
  2. Collection and Delivery Times: Please make sure your luggage is ready for collection in the designated area by 08:30 each morning. Please be advised that your luggage may not arrive at your accommodation until 16:30.
  3. Baggage Condition: We will not transport bags that are tied together. Additionally, boots or any other items should not be tied to the outside of the bags, as this could result in the bags not being collected.
  4. Cancellation: If you decide/need to cancel at any stage of your walk, please get in touch with Footfalls’ office immediately.
  5. Prohibited Items: Please note that we will not carry valuable items, laptops, cameras, or any breakable items. Additionally, camping gas is not allowed in transportable luggage.
  6. Liability: While every effort will be made to look after your luggage, Footfalls Walking Holidays Ltd. is not responsible for any items broken in transit, as bags are carried in vans and may fall or be stacked.

Luggage Details For Guided Tours.

  1. Baggage Weight Limit: The maximum permissible weight for each bag is 15kg. Please note that we will not transport bags weighing more than 15 kg / 34 Lb.
  2. Maximum of one bag per person, plus your small day pack. Extra luggage can be stored in the left luggage department at Dublin Airport.
  3. Liability: While every effort will be made to look after your luggage, Footfalls Walking Holidays Ltd. is not responsible for any items broken in transit.

Booking Single Rooms

Many B&B owners are reluctant to accept multiple single-room bookings for the same night. For this reason, we can accept no more than 3 single room requests per booking.

It is advisable to book at least 6 weeks in advance of your preferred tour date.

A Non-refundable deposit of €150 per person is required to book a place on our walking tours.

If you are booking within 6 weeks of the start date, then full payment is required as a deposit.

Upon receipt of your deposit, we will make reservations for your tour.

Booking Deposits are non-refundable.

Your deposit will ONLY be refunded in full in the unlikely event that we cannot secure your booking.

The balance is due six weeks prior to the start of your tour. Your place cannot be held if full payment has not been received by then.

If you cancel after final payment, levy cancellation charges are as follows:

Over 6 weeks before start of tour Deposit of €150
6 to 4 weeks before start of tour 50% of tour price
4 to 2 weeks before start of tour 75% of tour price
2 to 1 week before start of tour NO REFUND

Please ensure that you have adequate travel insurance for your holiday.

All online transfers are handled through Stripe – the world’s safest credit card processing system.

If you do not wish to pay online, you can choose to pay by bank transfer.
